Indeed

One of the largest job searching sites, Indeed is one of the first places we recommend when starting out your search online. Search by job title or keyword, such as ‘CCTV’ or ‘installer’ and location.

Reed

Similar to Indeed, Reed is one of the biggest job databases in the UK. The website also allows you to search by industry, which can be helpful if you’re not too set on a specific role.

LinkedIn

LinkedIn is great for connecting with people, so why not make use of it for job hunting? There are two ways you can use LinkedIn. The first is searching their database for relevant roles, and turning on notifications so you get emailed when a new one is listed. The second is contacting people directly, and posting on your profile that you’re looking for work. If you have industry connections, this can be a great way to skip the application step.

In person

Chances are you might already know people in the industry who can put in a good word for you, or let you know if jobs come up in their company. Don’t feel shy to ask around or send people a message.
