Fire Alarm Tutor – Kent

At Cube, we are looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Tutor. This role will involve delivering the Fire and Security Alarm courses up to Level 3. This is a part-time role based in Gravesend, Kent.

Responsibilities:

• To train and assess Fire and Security Installation courses.
• To review course content and delivery methods regularly.
• Provide delivery in both practical and theoretical settings.
• To ensure all relevant evidence of learning is accurately documented and completed.
• Provide feedback and support to learners on a 1:1 basis.
• To assist in the delivery of course material.
• Contribute to the continued development of courses.
• Provide support to Senior Management and carry out associated tasks connected to the job role.

Requirements:

• Sector-based experience as an installer, ideally with a minimum of 2 years experience as a Fire and Security installer with NSI or SSAIB company.
• A relevant Teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed).
• Fire Alarm Qualification (BS 5839 Part 1 and Part 6).
• Qualified in Test and Inspection (2391).
• Good understanding of BS7671.
• An Assessors qualification and Verifiers Award would also be advantageous.
