Hikvision has introduced the AX PRO wireless alarm system to meet the growing demand for wireless intruder alarm systems. Wireless Intruder alarm systems have come a long way in recent years. The Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) have changed the overall security systems market. Demand for home security systems is forecasted to rise as Smart Home Systems become a popular household product.

Hikvision AX PRO wireless alarm system

Hikvision entry into the wireless intruder alarm market was not a surprise, but it surprised me when it launched its series of AX Pro wireless intruder alarm kits. As Hik owns Pyronix Alarm UK, which already has a popular wireless system(Enforcer), one would expect Hik to develop the enforcer wireless alarm kit rather than launch a new AX Pro wireless alarm.

In any case, Hikvision’s AX PRO series is now available. A reliable and secure wireless intrusion alarm system that is simple to set up. The AX PRO range is controlled and configured using the Hik-Connect and Hik-ProConnect Apps. Customers with Hik can now access the alarm, CCTV, and access control from a single app.

The AX PRO alarm kit control panel serves as the system’s central hub, and devices such as indoor and outdoor detectors, sounders, repeaters, relays, and arming devices can be added to create a custom alarm system tailored to your specific needs.

Among the highlighted features is video verification with a 7-second video or 20 photos via HIK-connect, long-distance transmission, relay transmission, The Advanced Encryption Standard, and Pet-immunity technology. Although many current systems on the market already include these features, I believe Hikvision’s main competitive advantage is the Hik brand value.

Overall, the design is appealing, and the system includes some useful features that are uncommon in low-cost systems. The Ax pro wireless alarm will be a worthy competitor to the existing wireless alarm kits.
