About the Client:
Our client specialises in the design, supply, installation and commission of Life Safety and Security Systems. They are looking for a Fire and Security Installation Engineer to join their team following a successful year.
About the Candidate:
- Experienced for at least 5 years or more in the Fire Alarm, Gas Suppression Refuge,
- Experienced for at least 5 years or more in the Fire Alarm, Security Alarm, Access Control & CCTV with an NSI or SSAIB company.
- Able to fully Install small works and remedial on most if not all current & common systems and be confident to attend for call outs with very occasionally servicing. Complete works from plans to commission & handover direct to our clients.
- Willing to mix all roles regularly on different systems/makes, working for 1-4 days at the most on any one site installation and commissioning.
- Cover 1 week in 7 on our 24/7 call-out rota- Friday to Friday with standby allowance travel time and overtime
- Ideally, live locally to Essex or within the motorway around the M25.
- Clean Driving License, suitable to be enhanced security cleared
- Confident and presentable with good professional face to face customer skills
- Willing to work occasional overtime when needed.
- Good IT skills and confident on a computer generally.
- H&S trained and or aware
- IPAF, FIA or BS5839 trained- Some training can be provided
- CSCS card & Security cleared will be required
Points of Appeal:
- Fully expensed Van will be provided, company laptop and smartphone phone, fuel card all expenses covered.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holiday.
- Good basic and OTE potential with an on-call allowance.
