How did Grzegorz start his career as a Security Alarm Engineer?
Grzegorz, a train worker, began his career as a Security Alarm engineer with a Cube level 3 qualification. Do you want to find out how he got a job as a CCTV engineer?
If you are looking for a rewarding new career, then you may want to consider becoming a Fire and Security engineer. Gaining your accredited qualifications and entering this career path can be challenging, but highly rewarding. Grzegorz Brodowski began his journey in June 2019 with Cube which resulted in a new job opportunity as a CCTV and access control engineer in 2020.
I completed CQ10788 – Award in CCTV Installation – Level 3, CQ10789 – Award in Intruder Alarm Installation, CQ11128 – Award in Fire Alarm Installation, CQ11180 – Level 3 Award in Installation of Access Control and Door Entry Systems with Cube Training, Gravesend, Kent.
I found the courses to be rewarding and challenging. The training centre is well set up in both the workshop and the classroom. Ferdinand taught the course with diligence. Lessons were constructive and professional and the students successfully gained the required knowledge of the fire and security industry.
I enjoyed the hands-on training and especially the troubleshooting and maintenance of security systems. I gained a wealth of knowledge about the industry and British standards in the electronic security industry.
After course support
I had no experience in CCTV, alarm or access control and the only way for me to learn more about the industry is to find a job in the security industry.
I am thankful to Ferdinand and Wole at Cube for helping me re-write my CV and assisting me in my work search.
All my hard work paid off. I have a new job that I am starting on 17th Feb 2020 as a trainee CCTV and access control engineer.
