The Amalock door entry system offers a complete solution for installing a cutting-edge smart system. The Amalock door entry system features a fob reader, a bio-metric reader, SD card recording, mobile notification, and two-way HD video and audio over a smartphone.

The entry-level SV1 includes a 7″ Android monitor allows the customer to quickly check their door camera without using the smartphones.

Step 1: Mounting the doorbell

SV1 Model includes the following items;

  1. 1 x Full HD colour door bell with an inbuilt fob reader.
  2. 1 x 7″ Full HD smart android monitor
  3. 1 x Power supply
  4. 4 x Wires
  5. 1 x Lock plate
  6. Screws and screwdriver
  7. 5 X Fobs

When mounting the brackets, use a levelling tool. It’s normally recommended to mount the doorbell at a height of 48 inches (120 cm) above the ground.

Step 2: Mount the display monitor.

The 7″ Android monitors are simple to install.

Step 3: Electric lock

If you require an electric lock, change the lock to an electric strike lock.

Step 4: Run cables

The monitor and doorbell require 12 V DC and 2 A of power. Check the manufacturer’s guidelines for the lock power requirement. 

Warning: There is a risk of electrical shock.

Disconnect power to the installation area at your circuit breaker or fuse box before beginning installation. Always use caution when handling electrical wiring.

Step 5: Connection

Connect the monitor to the doorbell’s yellow, white, red, and black colour cables. This cable will transmit and receive data, as well as power the doorbell.

To power the monitor, use the included 12 V DC power supply.

Step 6: Wiring the lock

Wire the lock to the lock terminals at the back of the monitor.

You can use a relay to operate the lock.

Step 7: Downloading the app

Download the amalock app. The amalock app works with both Android and iOS users.
