    This two-day advanced course is for intruder alarm installers to get in-depth knowledge in advanced intruder alarm installation. This course combines essential theory and practical experience in wiring higher grade alarm panels. This course covers designing, the first fix, the second fix, commissioning, and maintenance.

    Participants should have a strong understanding of intruder alarms or have successfully completed a foundation in intruder alarm installation with our centre, or an equivalent qualification.

    Unit 1 : Introduction to European & British intruder alarm standards

    • Grading PD6662:2010 & BS EN50131-1:2006 & Amendment 1, intruder alarm system grades, risk assessments, other standards & governing bodies, responsibilities

    Unit 2 : Intruder alarm system circuitry - Grade 3

    • Grade 3 system design
