A Home Office spokeswoman said CCTVs “help communities feel safer” and spokesman for the Met said that 70% of murder investigations have been solved with the help of CCTV footage.

This shows there

is a clear need for effective CCTV systems and installers. In many cases cameras are not delivering the expected results. Very common issues are:

  3. Blurry images
  4. Wrong cameras were installed
  5. Lack of user training
